CareKind offer so much more than just a home. We are an organisation that offers a tailored support system for vulnerable or disadvantaged residents, as well as safe, secure and high-quality housing. We offer support plans, guidance, advice and accommodation to ensure that, with the right support, people can live independently and thrive.
Each CareKind tenant will have their individual needs and requirements assessed in the first instance by our fully trained staff. Any barriers or issues that can hinder their ability to live a successful and happy life will be picked up on during the assessment, and mitigating actions will be put in place to help the individual overcome these barriers. Barriers might include things such as alcohol or drug misuse, a history of anti-social behaviour, emotional support needs, mental health conditions, a history of homelessness or learning difficulties. The support plan that is developed after the initial assessment will also include positive goals to be achieved, and we work with our tenants to help them meet these goals.
Every person has their own individual needs, and so a tailored plan for each individual is crucial in ensuring that they succeed to be the best version of themselves and that they can live independently and safely. We offer bespoke, tailored support to ensure the best chance of success.
Every tenant will meet with a staff member on a one-on-one basis to identify and discuss their needs and their barriers. At CareKind we treat all of our tenants with the highest level of respect and dignity, as we are an organisation centred around and devoted to people. We put our focus on supporting people to develop independence, with control of their own lives and the ability to make their own choices. Our staff are fully trained, professional, empathetic people who are trained to deal with vulnerable people.
